I follow him on Instagram and this dude rides around in a Bentley, has multiple mansions, has a plane, an is constantly posting pics of him with stacks of cash. Did he just invest his money right or what? I feel like he had enough hits to make him rich but it seems like he crossed the line from rich to wealthy and he hasn't had a hit in a while (besides we made it if you consider that).

He caught some serious buzz with Crank Dat before signing to a label, so I would imagine he had a pretty good deal when he signed. Crank Dat was 4x platinum, his debut album was platinum, as was Turn My Swag On and Kiss me Thru the Phone. When you are getting a decent percentage of that profit, that's a lot of money. Celebrity net worth estimates him at $23 million, for comparison, they have Rick Ross at $35 million.

Celebrity net worth is bullshit. Rappers are notorious for having their debt catch up with them as soon as they lose a little steam. They're also notorious for fake chains, leasing whips, and doing anything to maintain their image.

Soulja Boy isn't that bad of a person bro. He even did verses for free. A korean underground rapper Dok2, who has no name whatsoever in the US, tried to buy a feature from Soulja Boy but Soulja boy just spat a verse for free. The verse was really bad but the dude did it for free. Dok2 also talked about trying to get a verse from Wayne wouldve costed him almost 150,000 US dollars. I think Soulja is just tryna help dudes out by making his features really affordable
